HOW TO USE
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instruction
to create a bootable diskette
3. Make sure the notebook is connected to A/C power and the newly created
bootable diskette remains inserted in drive A
4. Restart the notebook, allowing it to reboot from the upgrade diskette
5. Follow the onscreen instructions. The program detects the DVD model an
applies the firmware upgrade only if the model is LGDRN8080B. Otherwise the
program does not run and simply exits
6. Remove the diskette and restart the notebook again for the changes to
take effect.
